The No. 18 nozzle is a medium open star tip that pipes crisp stars, shells, rosettes and borders on cakes and cupcakes.

How to use: Fit the nozzle into a piping bag, fill no more than two-thirds with stiff buttercream and pipe with steady pressure. Hold the bag straight for stars and rosettes, and at an angle for shells.
